What is a Project? - Understanding the definition, characteristics, and purpose of projects, and how they differ from ongoing operations.
Role of the Project Manager: Combining technical skills with leadership, communication, and servant leadership principles.
Project management approaches – Overview of Predictive (Waterfall), Agile, and Hybrid methods, with real-life examples of where each works best.
The Five Process Groups: Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring & Controlling, and Closing, explained through practical examples.
Managing key constraints to deliver the project’s value: understanding the “Iron Triangle” of Scope, Time, and Cost, and strategies to manage them effectively.
Stakeholder management and the power of communication: practical tips for identifying risks early, addressing issues, and engaging stakeholders diplomatically and effectively.

Icebreaker: “Project Management in 3 Words”: Participants share their first impressions of project management to foster connection and understanding.
Team Exercise: “Build a Tower (with Constraints)”: A small group activity that demonstrates planning, adaptability, and teamwork under changing conditions.
