Join us on this exciting day trip to the lush green country environment of Karunguru, dotted with scenic hills, smooth valley and fresh country air, located just 35 minutes from Nairobi's city center. Experience the magic of Kenyan coffee from crop to cup at Karunguru Coffee Estate. The estate's knowledgeable guides will lead you on a 10,000-step journey from the coffee fields to the liquoring room, where you'll learn about the art of coffee tasting.
The coffee estate tour includes:
Welcome with a short introduction to the process of coffee making.
A coffee-tasting experience in the estate's lush gardens.
A tour around the farm, where you will observe all stages of the coffee-making process, from the young seedling to the parchment grading to the drying of the coffee beans.
A buffet style lunch (3 course + drink) that you can enjoy at the 1920s ballroom
After the tour, you will have a chance to purchase fresh coffee, jam, honey, and coffee soap from the farm shop at very affordable prices.

Meet at the UN commissary at 9:30 am sharp (for those using the UN-approved bus)
The tour starts at 11:00 am sharp and ends at 1:00 pm.
Lunch is served at 1:00 pm
